PFC is one of the few places in Greenpoint open really late (maybe 24 hrs? can somebody verify?) I have been to PFC three times:

The first time was when I first moved in a few blocks away and was broke. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and ate it in the rain in McCarren Park. It was aweful.

The second was when I was so hungry and hung over going to work that I needed to get something to eat before getting to SoHo. I had a bagel with cream cheese. It was aweful. (but that's what you get for getting a bagel at a fried chicken restaurant, i guess).

The third time was when Chris and I were moving from Downtown Greenpoint to Uptown Greenpoint. It was late, and I had to carry some items up to the new place and come back. I was starving. I got chicken nuggets and they were OK.

They have seafood now!
