LA Cafe and Restaurant

Page history last edited by Anonymous 3 yrs ago

It's been well over a year since I've been to LA, but my dining experience was not bad. The atmosphere is slightly bizarre for the neighborhood and keeps one interested while dining. Don't sit in the front room which is horribly plain and ugly! Sit in the back if possible, which is also ugly but in a different way. It's like a den (oh man I want a den) with dark wood paneling and heavy read curtains, even some stained-glass and marble I think. The people sitting in the back were all old polish. We were the only people under 50. Fare is italian and reasonably priced (but food could've been better for the price), but the basic tomato sauce was disappointing. The veal was good, and there was chicken roll-up thing that Dave got that he enjoyed.
